Already Have a Bachelor's Degree But Need Some Additional Courses and Training to Become a Music Therapist?
Seton Hill's certificate in music therapy is designed for postbaccalaureate students in music who wish to become trained and board-certified music therapists. As a student in this program, you will be required to complete the coursework in music therapy and clinical foundations, demonstrate competency on piano, voice and guitar, and remedy any deficiencies in music or other coursework in order to meet American Music Therapy Association competencies.
Admission requirements include:
- Completed transfer students application. Apply online now for free.
- Official copies of undergraduate transcripts.
- Proof of high school graduation.
- An interview with the music therapy faculty.
Applicants may be asked to demonstrate proficiency on piano, voice and guitar as well as in a major applied area.
